How to Use the Color Wheel

Click anywhere on the wheel to select a base hue. The tool will instantly generate a harmonious palette based on your selected harmony rule.

Complementary colors sit opposite each other on the wheel — they create maximum contrast and visual tension. Perfect for CTAs and highlights.

Analogous colors sit next to each other — they create a calm, cohesive feel. Great for backgrounds and large surfaces.

Triadic colors form an equilateral triangle — they're vibrant and balanced. Ideal for playful, energetic designs.

Split-complementary uses the base color plus the two colors adjacent to its complement — high contrast with less tension than pure complementary.
